This is a bigger update than usual. We have built three things on brachistalog.com that we have wanted for a long time: an account on the web, a way to link it with the LogCase app, and reviews. Here is what is new and how to use it.
Your account, now on the web
Sign in with the account icon at the top right of any page. Your account page shows:
- Your BrachistaLog customer number. If you backed us on Kickstarter, your card carries the Founding Backer mark.
- Every LogCase you own, with its serial number and the date you first used it.
- Your orders, rewards from Kickstarter and Searching C included, and where each one is.
If you backed LogCase, sign in with the e-mail address you pledged with: that is how we find your reward, with no extra step. A brand-new account can take until the next day to appear. If you use a different e-mail address for our shop, write to us through the contact page and we will join the two for you.
Link your LogCase app with one ID
If you signed up for the LogCase app with the same e-mail address, your account and the app are already linked. A new app account can take up to two hours to appear.
If you used another address, or Apple's Hide My Email, you can link them yourself:
- In the LogCase app, open Account. Your ID is on the membership card, under ID.
- On brachistalog.com, open your account and type the ID under LogCase app.
- We send one e-mail to the app account. Press the button in it, and your account shows the app within a minute or two.
The e-mail goes to the app account's own address, so only you can confirm it. If your app account has no e-mail address yet, add one in the app first.
Tell others how your LogCase is going
You can now review the products from your past orders, rewards from Kickstarter and Searching C included. In your account, choose Write a review under an order once it has shipped.
- Give a star rating and write in any language. Add up to five photos and one video of up to 60 seconds.
- Load preview shows your review as it will appear on the product page, before you send it.
- Post under the name you choose, or anonymously. Verified buyer is always shown, and if you like, your review can also say where you bought it.
- If you ask for it, we send you a code for 10% off your next order once your review is published, whatever rating you give. It is valid for 12 months, and you can apply it in your cart with one tap.
- You can change or remove your review from your account at any time.
A person reads every review before it appears. We publish low ratings too, and we never change what you say about the product. Reviews written in another language are shown with a translation, labelled as such, and the original is always one tap away. The full rules are in How reviews work.
Honest reviews, good and bad, help people decide, and they help us make the next LogCase better. We would be glad to read yours.
