We have updated our core LogCase companion app to 5.20.
Your favourites stay on your phone
Favourites are now live on your iPhone instead of on our servers, and you can make artwork for your case with Apple Intelligence. Version 5.20 is now available on the App Store.
Until this version, images you saved as favourites were kept on our servers. They are now stored on your iPhone instead, where we cannot see them.
We think that is where they belong. A phone case is often a photograph of somebody's children, and holding those on infrastructure we can browse was never something we needed to do in order for the app to work. So we stopped.
Favourites you saved before this update are copied to your phone the first time you open the new version, and deleted from our servers once the copy is safely on the device. Nothing is lost, and you do not need to do anything.
If you would like a backup, there is a switch in Account for it. The copy goes to your own iCloud, in the private area Apple reserves for you. We can see how many records exist and nothing else.

Make something with Apple Intelligence
Image Playground is now built into the app. Describe the picture you want, or start with one of the styles we have prepared, and your iPhone will create it.
The interesting part is what happens around the edges. The app tells Image Playground the shape and palette of the case you actually own, so a four-colour case is made from red, yellow, black, and white rather than a picture full of greens and blues that the panel cannot print. A round display is meant for a square image rather than a tall one; it would have to crop most of it.
Generation happens on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us, and there is no account or subscription behind it. It needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence.

A refreshed interface
The Favourites, Gallery and Information screens now share the same layout, and the app has been brought in line with the iOS 27 look throughout.

How to update
Open the App Store, go to your account, and pull down to refresh. LogCase 5.20 requires iOS 27.
