Today marks the official debut of BrachistaLog’s website and the first in our series of news stories—an unveiling of our vision, products, and the path we are forging in the world of consumer electronics. We would like to introduce ourselves and our work in response to this excellent opportunity.

We aim to enhance everyday activities—from capturing memories to organising your workflow—while preserving the simplicity and elegance that make analogue so compelling. As founder Takato Mitsunaga often says, “When technology works for you, you can focus on what truly matters.” This guiding principle shapes every product we develop and every interaction we design for our customers.

Our history

BrachistaLog was incorporated in December 2024, in Japan, and shortly thereafter established a Thai subsidiary, reflecting our commitment to a global mindset grounded in local excellence. Our dual incorporation allows us to combine Japanese craftsmanship and attention to detail with the entrepreneurial dynamism of Thailand’s growing tech ecosystem. From the outset, we structured our Japanese entity as a holding company to coordinate strategic partnerships and R&D initiatives, while our Thai entity spearheads manufacturing, logistics, and e-commerce operations. This structure enables us to optimise production costs, streamline cross-border transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance in multiple markets, all while maintaining the agility typical of a startup. As a result, BrachistaLog is well-positioned to scale rapidly and deliver value to customers across Asia and beyond.

Our product

At the heart of BrachistaLog’s product lineup is the LogCase: an innovative E-Paper display smartphone case that transforms your device into a canvas for your most important images, reminders, and creative expressions. Leveraging NFC technology, LogCase allows users to cast custom images from our companion smartphone app directly to the E-Paper display on the back of their case. Unlike traditional screen-based accessories that drain battery life, LogCase’s E-Paper panel consumes power only when updating, ensuring negligible impact on your phone’s battery. Our proprietary image conversion pipeline automatically optimises photos for contrast and clarity, converting JPEG or PNG files into bitmaps perfectly tuned for E-Paper rendering. Whether you want to showcase family photos, motivational quotes, or minimalist art, LogCase puts you in control effortlessly.

Beyond LogCase, BrachistaLog is actively developing a suite of complementary products, which will be announced very, very soon. Each product shares a common DNA: the fusion of analogue elegance with seamless digital control.

Where can you find BrachistaLog products today? Our primary sales channel is our direct-to-consumer website, powered by Shopify, where we offer worldwide shipping with transparent rates calculated via DHL, our shipping partner. All the products will be shipped from our warehouse in Bangkok, Thailand. For Thai domestic customers, we offer a free shipping option. 

We also operate on popular e-commerce marketplaces such as Shopee and Lazada, and we plan to launch on Amazon Global within the next few months.

For customers seeking in-person experiences, we are forging partnerships with select shops focusing on innovative gadgets, so that customers can have hands-on demos of our products.

Looking ahead, we intend to expand our retail footprint into Japan and Thailand, with more to come in South Korea, Singapore, and eventually Europe and North America. We will focus first on flagship stores and pop-up events that emphasise the tactile joys of E-Paper display.

Our service

Engaging with our customers is at the heart of everything we do at BrachistaLog. We believe in building communities around shared passions—be it photography, design, or sustainable living. We will make our website hosts a dedicated “Inspiration Hub,” where users can share creative ways they’re using LogCase and other products. We will offer tutorials on image optimisation, tips for styling E-Paper displays, and guides on integrating our devices into your home or workspace. Through regular newsletters and a presence on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter, we highlight customer stories, announce firmware updates, and solicit feedback for future features. Additionally, we collaborate with a diverse range of influencers—spanning LGBTQ+, female-focused, and tech enthusiast communities—to showcase real-world use cases and spark fresh ideas for personalisation and utility.
